Thatta Cement Company Limited was incorporated in 1980 as a Public Limited Company. In 1982, the manufacturing facility was contracted in collaboration with the OECF Aid of Japan. The plant was based on Dry Process Technology with four stage suspensions pre-heater. Mitsubish Corporation supplied the complete functioning plant.It is efficiently controlled, monitored and evaluated by competent professionals and experts. Subsequent to privatization, the plant was upgraded by adopting modern technologydesigned by M/s L.V Technology andFLSmidth, Denmark. The plant after up-gradation has a cement capacity of 2,000 tons per day.
Thatta Cement Company has three packing lines capable of delivering cement at 240 tons/hour cumulatively. The cement can be dispatched in 50 kilogram paper or poly propylene woven bags, 1.5 tons bulk bags and cement in bulkers of 50 and 70 tons capacities.

Assessment of cement quality is carried out by our laboratory, equipped with suitable and calibrated test equipment to meet all chemical, physical and performance requirements of the relevant standards.
The manufacturing technology adopted by Thatta Cement is a mixture of conventional and new concepts adopted from time to time. The factory now employs state of the art Process Automation Cemat 7 system supplied by Siemens, Germany for efficient process control.
