CBOT corn futures lower

Chicago Board of Trade corn futures ended slightly lower on Tuesday, weighed down by weakness in soybeans and wheat. Technical resistance for the benchmark CBOT December corn contract was noted at its 30-day moving average. Support was seen at the 10-day moving average.
A slow start to harvest lent underlying support to the corn market. The US Department of Agriculture on Monday afternoon said that US farmers had harvested just 28 percent of their crop as of Oct. 15, up 6 percentage points from the week before and well behind the five-year average of 47 percent.
