Baloch urges government to adopt firm policy on Kashmir

Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has called upon the government to adopt a firm policy on Kashmir and take up the issue of India's terrorism and human rights violations in Kashmir at world level through effective diplomatic efforts. He was talking to the representatives of the All Parties Hurriat Conference at Mansoora on Thursday.
The JI Secretary General said the people of Pakistan were utilizing all their resources and energies for the success of their Kashmiri brethren and sisters and the people of Pakistan and the JI paid tributes to their sacrifices for their just cause. He said the tension in the region was primarily because of India's going back on its promises and stubbornness.
He said that India's blocking Pakistan's river waters share and violation of the Indus Water Treaty were also crimes of the so called world's biggest democracy. He said the Kashmiris were keeping their freedom movement alive through their blood and they were destined to win freedom and join Pakistan. The delegation headed by Syed Kifayat Husain invited the JI Secretary General to attend the national seminar on the latest situation in held Kashmir and human rights violations being held in Islamabad on November 2.
