Arrangements finalised for Pakistan-Sri Lanka T20 in Lahore

Arrangements for the third T20 between Pakistan and Sri Lanka to be played here at Lahore's Qadhafi Stadium on October 29 (Sunday) are being given final touches. Renovation of the stadium has been completed while law-enforcing agencies are also making necessary security arrangements.
The match will start at 6:00 pm; the start time has been brought forward by an hour due to the prevailing weather and dew conditions in Lahore. Spectators are advised to reach the stadium in time, the stadium gates will be opened three hours prior to the start of the match at 3:00pm. An opening ceremony will take place at 4:45 pm, a PCB spokesman said.
Lahore Transport Company (LTC) has planned to commence free shuttle service for cricket enthusiasts for reaching cricket stadium. In this regard, LTC is plying 30 AC-coaster buses from various parking points. Former cricketers said Sri Lankan team's upcoming tour to Lahore for the third T20 gives a clear message to the world that Pakistan has come out victorious from the menace of terrorism as international cricket returns to the country.
It may be noted that the Gaddafi Stadium was seen jam packed in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final and the Independence Cup matches between World XI and Pakistan, which shows our nation was starved for international cricket from a long time," he said. Former cricketers said that Pakistan is a safe and sports loving nation which has great respect and love for humanity.
