Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Binali Yildrim and Turkish nation on the national day of Turkey. In his message, he said that people of Turkey and Pakistan are tied in the historic relationship of love, brotherhood and harmony. He also said that the friendly ties between both the countries are strengthening with every passing day.
"Turkey has always helped Pakistan in case of natural calamities like earthquake, floods. The government and the people of Turkey have always supported the point of view of Pakistan at every international forum. Turkey has witnessed huge progress under the visionary leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkey has become a developed and prosperous country due to continuity of democratic system and polices. The people of Pakistan are proud of matchless development of Turkey and admire its leadership for increasing influence of Turkey in the international community," he added.
Meanwhile, he also congratulated the national cricket team for their victory against Sri Lanka in the T-20 match and series. He said that the national team has won the match and series due to their hard work and the whole nation is celebrating the victory. He also congratulated Fahim Ashraf for hat-trick. He hoped that the national team will whitewash the series after winning the third match.
