Ghulam Ali may contest for FPCCI's top slot

Former Senator Haji Ghulam Ali is likely to once again join race to contest election for the top slot of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). Former president of FPCCI, Haji Ghulam Ali, a candidate of the Businessman Panel (BP), is in the run for contesting the election for third time and may face Ghazanfar Bilour of the United Business Group (UBG).
Like Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the FPCCI also elects its president on rotation basis from the federating units and the upcoming turn is of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to inside sources in BP, the decision of the candidature of Haji Ghulam Ali was taken in a meeting held the other day. Mohammad Adnan Jalil, a former vice president of FPCCI, was also an aspirant for the top slot from the group. However, the decision was made in favour of Haji Ghulam Ali.
