National Basketball Championship: Peshawar, Lahore, Hazara, Faisalabad in semis

Peshawar, Lahore, Hazara and Faisalabad have entered into the semi-finals after recording victories against their respective rivals in the ongoing National Inter-Divisional Men Basketball Championship being played at Faisalabad on Sunday.
Secretary Pakistan Basketball Federation Khalid Bashir was the chief guest on this occasion and before the start of the eight teams' battle, the players of all the participating teams were introduced to him. International Basketball players Raj Meer Khan, Pervez Sadiq, Muhammad Ali and large number of game spectators were also present.
According to information available here, Peshawar defeated Sargodha Division by 78-61 in a hotly contestant encounter. The two sides gave each other a tough fight. In the second match Lahore defeated Multan by 66-29, Hazara recorded victory against FATA at 91-68 points while host Faisalabad defeated Gujranwala by 70-41. Now Peshawar will face Lahore in the first semi-final while Hazara will clash against Faisalabad in the second semi-finals. The final of the tournament will be played on Tuesday.
