Heat wave likely to prolong for two more days

: Heat wave is expected to prolong for two more days until November 1 in the metropolis with temperature rising to 38 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said on Monday. Despite a partly cloudy weather on Tuesday and Wednesday (October 31 and November 1), the city is likely to undergo a hot and dry spell with humidity dropping to maximum 55 percent. However, mercury level plunged to minus two degrees Celsius in Skardu in the last 24 hours, the Met said.
Foggy weather is expected to grip Upper Sindh, plains of Punjab, particularly Lahore, and Faisalabad Divisions besides adjoining areas during morning hours. However, mainly dry weather is expected in the most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.
