Qandeel Baloch murder case: physical remand of Mufti Qavi extended

Police got another two-day physical remand of Mufti Abdul Qavi in social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch murder case, on Monday. According to the prosecution, the police presented the accused before Magistrate Muhammad Pervez Khan after expiry of four-day physical remand and sought another two-day remand, which was granted.
Meanwhile, Investigation Officer SI Asif Shahzad presented the alleged killer of Qandeel, Waseem, and facilitator Haq Nawaz in the court of District and Sessions Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan. He informed the police that another accused Mufti Abdul Qavi was on physical remand and challan of the case was incomplete. He requested the court to extend time for completion of the challan.
D&SJ Ameer Muhammad ordered the investigation officer to present the complete challan in the court on November 20. Yet another accused, taxi driver Basit and Aslam Shaheen, a brother of the deceased, are on bail while Arif, one of the accused, has been declared a proclaimed offender, as he is living abroad.
