JI accords priority to religious, science education: Siraj

Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the JI envisaged building Pakistan the super power of the Muslim world through promotion of education. According to media cell of JI at Lahore (Mansoora) he was addressing the prize distribution ceremony of the Government Higher Secondary School, Samar Bagh, on Tuesday.
Siraj said that the JI as a coalition partner in the KP government was giving due attention to both religious and science education. During its tenure, dozens of schools besides several big colleges had been established in the backward area of Jandol.
He said the establishment of the Timargarah Medical College was a milestone for development. He said the Timargarah district hospital would be upgraded as Teaching hospital and it would be equipped with the necessary facilities. With that, the local people would not have to travel too far of places for medical treatment.
He said that he was also striving for an Engineering College at Dir and hoped to give good news in this regard very soon. The JI chief told the students that they were the future of the country and also the Ghazis of Islam and they must acquire best education to save Pakistan and build it as a world power. Sirajul Haq said that the political parties coming into power by turn were mainly responsible for the problems facing the country and the masses.
