Aamir Khan’s latest release ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ didn’t impress the audience and the actor has taken the full responsibility of the film not performing well. He has apologized to the audience for not delivering what has been expected from him.
Acknowledging the failure of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Aamir said, “I think we went wrong and I would like to take full responsibility for that. We tried very hard to make a good film and we didn't hold back from putting in our entire effort, but somewhere or the other we went wrong. There are people who have liked the film and we are thankful to them, but they are in a minority. Most people didn't like our film, we are aware of that,” he said while interacting with the media at the Cinestaan India's Storyteller Script Contest 2018.
“The audience, which came with so much expectation to watch my film, I want to apologise to them also that this time I couldn't entertain them. I am feeling very bad that we weren't able to entertain them,” he added.
The film, which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, opened on a promising note but the film began to witness dipping numbers at the box office from the second day because of negative word of mouth.
