Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Mohammad Iqbal met former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at his Raiwind residence here on Friday and discussed important issues of national importance. Rana Iqbal also expressed good wishes for early recovery of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz who is undergoing treatment of cancer in London, sources said. The sources said Rana Iqbal also discussed matters of mutual interest and other issues of political nature. Earlier, Nawaz along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz reached Lahore after appearing before an accountability court. Nawaz reached his Raiwind residence amid stringent security measures.
The sources claim that Nawaz Sharif is going to start hectic political activities and his staff is chalking out programme in this regard. The sources also said that Nawaz is also scheduled to undertake tour of different parts of the country.
