GCU Lahore to host three int'l moots in November

The Government College University Lahore is going to host three international conferences this month, and besides hundreds of local scholars, more than 31 eminent international scientists from different parts of the world are participating in these conferences.
According to Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Hassan Amir Shah, the university's Political Science Department is all set to hold a highly crucial international conference on "Migration and Displacement" from November 14 in collaboration with the Center of Excellence, China Studies and Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. Eminent social scientists and writers from Belgium, China, India, Nepal and Tajikistan are scheduled to participate in the three-day conference.
About 47 research papers would be presented at the technical sessions of the conference on the themes; "Migration for economic development: pull factor and push factors", "Diaspora and global citizenship: role of diaspora in host state and home state", "Intra and Inter State conflicts as catalyst of displacement", "New challenges of refugees management and refugees settlement" and "Challenges of multi culturalism". Meanwhile, the leading Mathematics from South Africa, Italy, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Turkey and UAE are coming to Pakistan this week to present their papers at the international conference on "Mathematics and its Applications (ICMA)" to commence from Monday (November 13) at GCU Lahore with s special support from the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC).
And above all, the 8th International THAAP Conference 2017 this year is also being held in collaboration with the Government College University Lahore on the theme "The City: An Evolving Organism". An exhibition of photographs will be held in conjunction with the conference on November 11 at GCU.
