ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Tuesday said the government would resolve energy shortfall through indigenous resources which would help reduce dependency on important fuel.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Exxon Mobil here, the minister said under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government would bring investment based development, said a press release.
Giving favorable environment to multi-national companies was the priority of the government, he said and added that Exxon Mobil was an example of foreign direct investment.
He thanked the management of Exxon Mobil for re-entering Pakistan industry after 3 decades. Chairwoman, Exxon Mobil Emma Cochrane was also present on the occasion.
