PFVA hails Waheed's nomination for FPCCI VP's slot

The chairman of All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchants Association (PFVA), Aslam Pakhali and Members of Executive Committee have praised leadership of the United Business Group (UBG) for their commendable efforts in resolving issues of the business community and stabilizing economy of the country. Warmly welcoming nomination of PFVA Patron-in-Chief Waheed Ahmed as a candidate for Vice President FPCCI, Chairman PFVA has also hailed decision of the UBG and announced firm assurance to support and render assistance to the UBG in the forthcoming election of the FPCCI.
Chairman PFVA and members deeply acknowledged excellent performance and untiring efforts of top UBG leadership including Chairman Iftehkar Malik, S M Muneer, Secretary General of UBG Zubair Tufail, Ilyas Billo, Mian Idrees, Khalid Tawab, Dr Ikhtiar Baig and Gulzar Feroz. "The FPCCI has once again attainted as an effective and active platform of the country and the issues confronted by the business community were highlighted in very presentable and effective manner such that the government has to announce relief package for export oriented organizations," Aslam Pakhali said.
Similarly the leadership of UBG and the President FPCCI has played an exemplary role in settlement of refund payment, he added. He hoped that nomination of Waheed Ahmed as Vice President FPCCI would play a vital role for uplift of Horticulture sector and conduction of National Conference for development of road map with mutual co-ordination of the PFVA and FPCCI.
Pakhali said that this nomination is undoubtedly proved that all decisions of the UBG are made on merit and transparency. With consistent support and assistance of the UBG leadership the issues of horticulture sector are being acknowledged at the highest level and the untiring effort by the leadership of UBG has been of great help in drawing attention of government about issues of the exports oriented industries, he added. Chairman PFVA expressed confidence that Waheed Ahmed would play a significant role, effectively exploiting his potential for betterment and further for uplift of the horticulture sector.
