Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Pir Amin-ul-Hasnat called on the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here Thursday and discussed matters of mutual interest, as well as promotion of interfaith harmony. On the occasion, Shahbaz said that Islam is a religion of tolerance, peace and tranquility. The Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) has given a message of tolerance, tranquility and harmony through His immaculate character and the heart of every Muslim is filled with the purest love of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
He observed that need for interfaith harmony and tolerance is ever than before and it is the need of the hour to promote it at the grassroots. Pakistan has to be moved further by following the golden principles of brotherhood, unity and cohesion, he said, adding: "There is no room for fanaticism and terrorism in Pakistan and added that promotion of a societal order based on tolerance and tranquility is our mission and we all shall work collectively to make Pakistan a hub of peace and tolerance." Moreover, Shahbaz has announced financial aid for the heirs of the persons killed in Turbat area of Balochistan.
