The Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (IBA-CEIF) has announced two trainings. The first one-day training on the "Cases Development in Islamic Finance" will be held in collaboration with CEIF, IMSciences on November 28, 2017. According to IBA CEIF this training will provide hands-on experience on developing case studies for training and teaching purposes. The training uses Islamic finance as the case of cases development.
However, the learning can be applied to other topics in management. The training covers topics such as the nature and use of cases, typology of cases, collecting narrative data for cases, forming various episodes of cases, developing and effective instructor note for the cases, and publication process of the cases. Academics and Researchers, Trainers & Associates with the learning Departments, Consultants and Employees analysing cases for the solution development and PhD and MS students interested in using Case research methodology can attend the training.
In addition, the Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance (IBA-CEIF) has announced an intermediate level one-day course on the "Art of Selling Islamic Financial Products" on November 23, 2017. By the end of this course the participants will be able to understand the nature and market for Islamic banking Products and learn how to deal with customers, while assessing their attitudes, cultural background and potential critique
Assistant Professor Dr Ziyaad Mahomed is a faculty member at International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance, will be the trainer. He is the Chairman of the Shariah Board of HSBC Amanah Malaysia and serves on a number of Shariah boards internationally.
