Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) while condemning recent terror attacks on security personnel in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa asked the government on Friday to take up the issue with Afghan government as all these activities are controlled from Kabul. Addressing Friday gathering here, Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, chief of his own faction of PUC, said that Afghan government has allowed Indian government to set up terror networks on Afghan soil to destabilize Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan is striving hard to promote peace in the region while Afghan government and India are considering Pakistan's such efforts as a weakness.
He added that over the past few weeks, Indian government by using Afghanistan based terrorists carried out a number terror attacks in Balochistan and KPK wherein senior police and army officers embraced martyrdom. Pakistan government must make it clear to Afghan government that such activities would not be tolerated and Afghan government should hand over all those terrorists to Pakistan who is responsible for multiple terror attack in the country, he maintained.
Ashrafi alleged that the United States is also supporting Indian state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, saying how Islamic State can establish terror networks along Pakistan border inside Afghanistan when thousands of American troops are deployed there.
