Army foiled Nawaz's plan of civil war: PML-Q

Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and senior leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, on Monday, claimed that the army has foiled Nawaz Sharif's plan of civil war by pitting the people and the army against each other. They said, "Conspiracy of puppet government of Nawaz Sharif was that in the name of establishing writ of the government, the army be involved in operation against sit-in and made controversial but Army Chief proved too wise and kept the army out of this sensitive dispute."
In a statement issued here today, the PML-Q leaders said now that the army, on the request of the government has got jotted down an agreement in writing with sit-in leaders. Now the government should pinpoint the culprits for changing the Khatm-e-Nubawwat declaration within fixed time.
They further said that precipice of destruction on which N-League has brought to the country, immediate elections are not solution of the problem. In case, elections are held, prevailing political tension will further increase which can become threat to the national security, they said, reiterating, "Only solution of the present crisis lies in the establishment of a national government which should first introduce reforms then hold elections."
