Chicago Board of Trade corn futures were roughly unchanged on Tuesday in technically driven dealings amid a lack of fresh news to push prices up or down, traders said. Most-active CBOT March corn settled 1/4 cent higher at $3.53-3/4 per bushel, near the low end of its trading range and the roughly three-week highs reached on Monday.
Abundant global grain supplies limited potential gains, with US wheat futures declining about 1 percent. Private analytics firm Informa Economics estimated Brazil 2017/18 all-corn production at 89 million tonnes, down 3 million from previous forecast.
