OPC Punjab: overseas Pakistani gets back occupied house, shops

Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab has got vacated house and four shops belonging to an overseas Pakistani, worth rupees 5 Million from the illegal occupants. Vice Chairperson OPC ,Shaheen Khalid Butt informed in this regard that Muhammad Abbas, settled in Saudi Arabia, filed a complaint that some persons have forcefully captured his four marla house and four shops situated at Butter Road, New Nokhar, Farooqabad, District Sheikhupura.
This complaint was referred to the District Overseas Pakistanis Committee, (DOPC) Sheikhupura for further proceedings. After efforts of members of DOPC and local police, the said house and shops were got vacated and handed over to its owner. Shaheen Khalid Butt further said that overseas Pakistanis can contact OPC any time and so far thousands of complaints of Overseas Pakistanis have been redressed amicably.
