Pakistani, foreign engineers present their research

Post-graduates, PhD professors and researchers from different engineering disciplines shared their research work at an international conference, organized by NED University of Engineering and Technology, here on Thursday. Foreign research scholars also presented their research work at the conference that was highly appreciated by the different private Industries of Pakistan.
"This type of conference gives a platform to the Pakistani students and professors to present their new ideas and experiences," Professor Dr Sarosh Lodhi, Vice Chancellor NED University said addressing the conference. "We are proud of the Pakistani professors serving worldwide," he said.
Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Tufail Ahmed said that the conference provided a platform to the different private engineering industries and researchers to benefit from it. "Researchers from around the world are able to share their experiences with the students of various disciplines," he said, adding that in the emerging world of technology, this type of conference added Pakistan to the list of developing countries.
Fawad Inam from UK urged the students to play role in science and technology. He appreciated the event that would be helpful to Pakistan. Dr Saud Hashmi, an Associate Professor, termed the event a milestone and the bridge between the professional engineer and different industries as they could utilize their research for commercial purposes to ease the life of people.
