15 Dec, 2017

Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaiser on Thursday said the previous provincial governments of the ANP, PML-N and MMA kept the people deprived of basic facilities and delivered nothing except hollow slogans. Addressing a gathering in Swabi after inaugurating a government secondary school, he said the previous governments just killed the time and kept the province backward and deprived of basic amenities even drinking water, electricity and gas and communication system.
He said the PTI-led government after coming to power initiated mega projects in education, health, drinking water and communication sectors besides providing job opportunities on merit thus ushering a new era of prosperity and well being of people. Referring to the MMA government, the speaker said that those who took vote in the name of Islam did not do anything mentionable for the religion, adding that in contrary the PTI government did real Islamic legislations in the province and actually served the religion.
He mentioned that the PTI did legislations against interest based system, made the Nazra Quran and teaching Holy Quran with translation compulsory at school level, declared public holiday on day of martyrdom of Hazart Omar (RA), installed solar lights in all mosques and last but not least had announced to fix scholarship and stipend for Imam of mosques.
