Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Hockey Association Monday short-listed the names of the 30 probable out of 150 turned up from all districts across KP for the day long trials in connection with the forthcoming Quaid-e-Azam Games to be scheduled from December 25 at Islamabad. According to Secretary KP Hockey Association Syed Zahir Shah said that a total of 150 probable turned up for the trials and among them 30 were short-listed for the camp to be continued up till December 22, 2017 at the same venue Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium.
He said Senior Vice President Pakistan Hockey Federation Muhammad Saeed Khan headed the selection committee who thoroughly monitored the performance of the players before short-listing them for the camp. He disclosed that out of the 30 probable, a final team of 16 players would be announced on December 22, 2017 who would represent KP in the forthcoming Games.
