Tunisia's state grains agency purchased about 100,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat, 50,000 tonnes of durum wheat and 50,000 tonnes of feed barley in an international tender which closed on Friday, European traders said. The grains can all be sourced from optional origins.
The soft wheat was purchased in four 25,000 tonne consignments. Three consignments were purchased from trading house Cofco at $206.29, $206.79 and $207.29 all per tonne c&f, they said. One wheat consignment was purchased from ADM at $207.08 a tonne c&f. The durum was bought in two 25,000 tonne consignments, one from Mediterranea at $297.69 a tonne c&f and the other from Casillo at $295.65 a tonne c&f.
