KP government fails to get due share in CPEC, NFC: QWP

20 Dec, 2017

Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) has criticised that the PTI-led provincial government had failed to advocate in better way the province case to get rightful shares in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and National Finance Commission (NFC).
Addressing a news conference at Watan Kor on Tuesday, QWP Provincial Chairman, and former provincial minister, Sikandar Khan Sherpao said the incumbent provincial government wasted the precious time of the public on non issues that aggravated the sense of growing deprivation among the masses, so the PTI's government in KP is accountable to the people of the province for it.
He demanded the federal government for the immediate integration of FATA with KP along with sincere steps. He emphasized that FATA should be integrated into KP before the general elections in 2018 so that proper representation of the Pakhtoons in the National Assembly and Senate is made possible. He rejected any other plan for the merger devised by the federal government except the full merge of the area with the rest of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
