Greenwich University's convocation on Saturday

Greenwich University will hold its 12th convocation at its campus on Saturday, its vice chancellor announced on Tuesday. The VC, Seema Mughal, told the media that the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate degrees will be conferred at the ceremony. Outstanding students from each academic department will receive gold medals.
The university will also confer honoris causa degrees, the highest academic honour, on students considered "extraordinary individuals," she said. The convocation will be preceded by an international conference on Thursday and Friday titled "Sustainable Business and Innovations: Challenges and Opportunities in Developing Economies."
A large number of delegates and research scholars from East and West Africa, China, Spain, Mauritius and the United States will be participating in the conference. The academic partners of the conference are EPSAM the Formation University of West Africa, the Liaoning University of China and Uganda's Victoria University. The corporate partner of the conference is OTSUKA Pakistan.
The aim of the conference is to develop and promote an interdisciplinary approach to the study of business trends, challenges and opportunities in developing economies. Other objectives will be identification of key research areas for meeting capacity building, innovation and technological competencies, challenges in developing economies, especially in Pakistan, and examining latest trends, methodological tools, conceptual theories, and techniques to address the business research issues in academia and industry, she added.
