FFCL pays tributes to Quaid-e-Azam

We celebrate 25th of December as the birthday of the founder of the Nation. It was his staunch political leadership and untiring efforts that helped the Muslims of the sub-continent in getting an independent homeland "Pakistan". Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC) celebrates Quaid-e-Azam Day in remembrance of Quaid's services and to pay tribute to his unmatched leadership resulting in a free, independent and sovereign country. The company draws inspiration from his personality, deeds and words that he left behind giving us direction as a nation.
FFC is a listed public/private company working as an associate company of Fauji Foundation. The company was born in 1978 as result of Joint Venture between Fauji Foundation Pakistan and M/S Haldor Topsoe A/S Denmark, and has now become a leader in the fertilizer industry of Pakistan. Adding more feathers to its cap, FFC has diversified its business by entering into the Banking sector, food processing technology and has pioneered wind power in Pakistan. Today about 44% of FFC's dividend goes to Fauji Foundation trust.
This coupled with additional CSR initiatives present a unique business model serving not only community but society as a whole.
Financially, FFC is amongst the highest contributors to the national economy. The recognition of Company's ethics and values internationally is a source of pride for Pakistan. FFC has always remained amongst the highest taxpaying companies in Pakistan, its tax contribution in the year of 2016 was around Rs 45 billion. FFC has been declared 1st amongst the top 25 companies on PSX for six consecutive years since 2010. It also has one of the highest dividend payout ratios for the shareholders which amounts to more than 90%.The products and services of FFC are recognized and admired world over.
The company keeps drawing inspiration from Quaid-e--Azam, who in his speech at Chamber of Commerce Karachi said: "I would like Pakistan to become a synonym and hallmark for standard and quality in the market places of the world".
