Traders assured: Rangers, police to begin joint operation against criminals

Pakistan Rangers has evolved a plan with the police to start a joint operation against the street criminals and extortionists. In a meeting with a delegation of All Karachi Tajir Ittehad (AKTI), headed by its chairman Atiq Mir, Rangers Sector Command Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Colonel Muhammad Adnan Ajmal assured the businessmen that the law enforcers will continue its chase of mastermind extortionists.
He said that the Rangers' focus is on the forces that are primarily responsible for strengthening the extortionists to capture them by reaching them. He said that the Rangers are well aware of the criminals, who are again trying to sabotage the city peace. He pointed out that the Rangers have evolved a list of traders who are taking extortions from other businessmen and supply the illegal money to the extortionist groups. He asked the traders not to get panicked and should approach Rangers at its helpline around the clock to report extortionists' calls.
He also informed the traders the Rangers are soon launching a plan to increase its interaction with public and tradesmen for letting peace perpetuate. Atiq Mir also assured the Rangers of exposing facilitators of extortionists to bring them to justice, saying that the businessmen community will continue its cooperation with the law enforcers against the anti-social activists.
