Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Tuesday strongly objected to illegal occupation of a public park adjacent to F-8 District Courts by lawyers' fraternity for constructing their offices. The lawyers have already been given a place in sector F- 10 for building offices after the District Courts were shifted from sector F-8 some years back but most of the lawyers are not ready to move there and instead are busy occupying a public park.
In a statement issued here by PTI Central Secretariat, a local PTI leader Ali Awan said that lawyers are occupying the public park in connivance with the government as no action is being taken against those busy occupying the public park. He said that this is the only playground for children in F-8 sector, but lawyers have started occupying the park and the government administration is seen nowhere, which shows the government is facilitating the occupants.
