Katrina Kaif went through a major break up with long-term beau Ranbir Kapoor after dating for quite a while. Few years down the lane, the actress now believes that breaking up with him was indeed a blessing for her.
Katrina has graced the cover of Vogue magazine for its December issue and as always stunned everyone with her looks. In an interview to the same publication, the actress talked about her love life and how it is like being single since last two years.
The diva revealed that her love-life is non-existent and acknowledged that many times her personal life has been discussed more in the media. She added that after her break-up with Ranbir, she has had the time to introspect. For Katrina, the last two years may have been intense but she’s made it out in style.
“It’s probably one of the first times in my life where I really had only myself to focus on. And when you focus on yourself, often, the first thing you realise is that you don’t really know yourself. It’s like a period of not knowing, a period of being uncomfortable because you’re seeing yourself in your raw form without embellishments,” she said.
She further shared that although she was sad, had moments of insecurity and self-doubt, but she is now grateful for whatever happened. “I now see it as a blessing because I was able to recognise my patterns, thought processes and things that I had been so sure of my whole life. I could see them from a whole different perspective,” Katrina said.
On work front, Katrina is currently working on her next film with Salman Khan titled ‘Bharat’. Her last film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, along with Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, was a failure. She is also looking forward for her upcoming release ‘Zero’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
