Just before the year ends, Samsung is set to introduce another smartphone next week with full view display, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a hole in the top corner for a selfie camera, soon followed by Huawei’s phone with the same technology.
Samsung recently teased its all new Galaxy A8s that it will completely unveil next week on December 10. Samsung’s announcement came in just a day after Huawei announced about its Nova 4 that will also have the same top corner hole for selfie camera to be unveiled a week later on December 17.
The designs of both the phones, as showed by tipster Ice Universe, are more or less the same. The screen on both Nova 4 and Galaxy A8s are LCDs. As per the specs, the Galaxy A8s is expected to have a 6.3-inch Infinity-O Type display with up to 6GB RAM, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 24MP selfie camera and a 25MP + 5MP + 10MP triple camera on the back and a 3,400mAh battery, reported Gizmo China.

Huawei Nova 4, on the other hand, is also expected to include 6GB RAM, an in-display fingerprint sensor. Apart from the release date, not much is known about the devices.
Moreover, Huawei’s Nova 4 teaser picture showed the phone with a galaxy background. Samsung, which released its poster a day after, had a galaxy background too with a caption ‘Real Galaxy’. Both the companies seem to be racing with each other to be the first one to introduce the technology.
