Pakistan Awami Tehreek's core committee discusses protest strategy

08 Jan, 2018

A meeting of central core committee of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) was held under the supervision of its leader Dr Tahirul Qadri. In the meeting strategy of protest was thought out at a stretch keeping in view the end of dead line and all the possible options were discussed.
Addressing the core committee, Tahirul Qadri said that protest strategy will be shared and discussed with all the APC participant parties' leadership before it is finalized by the steering committee. In pursuit of justice for the martyrs we will proceed with collective ownership as it already has been declared by the APC participant as a grave matter of humanity Qadri said, "We will go to any stretch and hectic pursuit to seek justice. We have already shown immense patience and gave ample time so that justice may happen. Our peace centric policy, taken as our weakness, will be corrected very soon. We have always made efforts within the contours of law and democratic norms."
The PAT leader had a meeting with the heirs of martyrs and party workers and said, "We had to lift coffins but could not get justice, yet we did not raise finger towards the dignity of courts. Liars and national plunderers are threatening that they will not spare the judges of Supreme Court. Supreme Court is the highest constitutional seat of Justice but not an off shore company of any corrupt family." If murderers of Model Town take to the streets, they will not be let done by the people, he stated. Why have the custodians of the constitution fallen silent on the threats of a disqualified and unworthy ex-prime minister? he inquired.
He said PAT workers are the actual soldiers of Islam and Pakistan. In order to get justice, workers are fully prepared and waiting for my orders. PAT spokesperson said that the meeting of APC steering committee will be held at PAT's central secretariat at 3pm.
