Khattak inaugurates 23 uplift projects in Haripur

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has inaugurated 23 newly-established development projects at a total cost of Rs. 21.995 billion at Haripur. During his day-long visit to Haripur City and newly-established Khanpur Tehsil of District Haripur on Saturday, the Chief Minister also performed ground breaking of Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology at Mang near Haripur and formal opening of the Headquarters of recently established Khanpur Tehsil and newly constructed buildings of Judicial Complex Haripur.
He also addressed public gatherings at Ayub Park Haripur, March Abad, Khanpur and office of Hattar Industrialists Association, Hattar and vowed to continue his struggle for taking forward the PTI agenda of social and economic uplift of the masses, good governance and promotion of employment through merit based recruitments and industrialization.
Advisor to the Chief Minister for Communication and Works Akbar Ayub Khan, PTI Leader Yousaf Ayub Khan, MPA Faisal Zaman, District Nazim Adil Islam, Naib Nazim Agha Shabir, Tehsil Nazim Tariq Khan, Naib Nazim Ahsan Shah, former MNA Raja Amir Zaman, other members of local councils, office bearers of District Bar Haripur, Hattar Industrialists Association, Haripur Chamber of Commerce and All Traders Association and local leadership of the PTI was also present on these occasions.
The projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister were in health and education sector at Rs 11.370 billion, Roads costing Rs 9.030 billion, urban beautification schemes of Rs 35 billion and civic services schemes at a cost of Rs 345 billion.
The projects and schemes inaugurated by CM Pervez khattak included establishment of Pak-Austria University of Science and Technology at an estimated cost of nine billion rupees, construction of Lora Chowk to Ghoragali Road at the cost of Rs 2.3 billion, Haripur to Farooqia double carriage Road at Rs 2.86 billion, Tarnawa to kohala Bala Road at Rs.3.1 billion and link roads of Chajian, Ghumawan, Makhnial, neela Bhooton, Chapara, Sanjiala, and Gandhian at a total cost of Rs81 billion.
Among other education and health sectors' projects inaugurated by the CM were included construction of a new Model School for Haripur at an estimated cost of Rs 243.6 million, reconstruction of Women and Children Hospital, Haripur at 250 million and reconstruction and rehabilitation of Girls pilot secondary School, Haripur, Government Boys Higher Secondary School No. 01, Haripur, Govt Boys Degree College, Sarai Saleh, Tehsil Stadium Sarai Saleh and Girls Degree College, Khanpur at a total cost of Rs. 775 million.
