Jamaat's Baloch says big threats ahead for Pakistan's democracy

Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the parliamentary democracy in the country was facing serious threats due to the failure of the governments and the irresponsible attitude of the political leadership. He was addressing the financial committee of the JI at Mansoora on Monday. Liaqat Baloch said the US, India, Israel coalition was emerging as a hard fact in the region and the gang up of Indian and Israeli Prime Ministers was totally against the Muslim world. He said that Pakistan could face the challenge only through its unity and a strong democratic system.
The JI Secretary General said that the culprits behind the murder of Kasur tragedy had not been arrested which had exposed the police, investigation and the judicial system. He said that the country could become strong only if the life, property and honour of the masses was secure, and the supremacy of the constitution, the law and the judicial system was guaranteed.
