Country's exports

Indonesia's decision to grant Pakistan concession on 20 items seems to have injected an unwarranted dose of confidence into our policymakers who believe that 'successful' trade diplomacy has worked in their favor.
Addressing a press conference, Minister for Commerce and Textile, Pervaiz Malik, has reportedly said that unilateral concession granted by Indonesia will formally be signed on January 26, during the visit of Indonesian President. Unfortunately, however, a game-plan aimed at boosting exports in a meaningful manner is still conspicuous by its absence. Do they have any plausible answer to a question that the share of Pakistani textile products in total US imports remains low as 3.55 percent against India's 7.23 percent and Vietnam's 7.13 percent?
