Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday assured the representative delegation of business community that the federal government will be approached for the solution of problems confronted to the industrialists while the issues hindering the country's exports will be addressed. He said this while talking to a representative delegation of industrialists, which led by Senator Ilyas Bilour called on him, here on Tuesday. During the meeting, different matters including problems being faced by the industrial sector and promotion of trade and investment came under discussion.
The delegation members paid tributes to Shahbaz Sharif for taking unprecedented steps for the welfare of the people in the province. "Under your leadership, wonderful work has been done in the province of the Punjab and now the people of Peshawar saying that they need a chief minister like Shahbaz Sharif. You have made Lahore and the whole of Punjab fully developed with your hard work," they said. The delegation members thanked Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for his assurance to solve their problems and invited him to visit Peshawar.
The Chief Minister congratulated Ghazanfar Bilour on his election as President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). Shahbaz said that industrial growth plays an important role in provision of jobs, as it helps to generate more and more employment opportunities.
He said that transparency and speedy completion of development projects in the province is our hallmark and he is always available to serve the masses. "I have selflessly served the people of the province during the last four and a half years and I am of the view that other provinces should also make speedy progress," he said, adding: "Pakistan belongs to all of us and we collectively have to work for its prosperity because the progress of four provinces will make Pakistan prosperous."
President of FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour, former President S M Muneer and former presidents of KPCCI Haji Muhammad Afzal, Riaz Arshad, Malik Niaz and Executive Committee Member of KPCCI Gul Khan were included in the delegation.
