Pakistani food processors to attend Anuga FoodTec in Cologne

KARACHI : Tetra Pak, the world leader in food processing and packaging solutions has unveiled its plans for Anuga FoodTe

Pakistan’s top food processors will join industry giants from the world over and gain knowledge of the latest developments shaping the international food and beverage industry. Previous iterations of the prestigious event have drawn more than 1,200 companies from 39 countries worldwide covering the entire spectrum of the food processing chain, from processing to packaging and distribution.

Under the theme of  “Today, Tomorrow, Together”, Tetra Pak’s 4,800 sqm stand will showcase the company’s current products and services offerings, alongside a range of innovations for the future. Specific areas of focus will include consumer experience, environment and customer performance.

With sales of almost €10.5 billion in 2011, Tetra Pak adopts a long-term investment strategy on innovation to ensure it continues to deliver products and services that meet the changing needs and expectations of customers and consumers. With this goal in mind, the company invests around 4% of its annual sales in research and development, supporting 11 R&D centres around the world.  Today, it owns more than 5,100 individual patents for the packaging and processing of liquid and semi-liquid food.
