Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Friday said that international conscience is needed to be awakened about the worst cruelties committed by the occupied Indian armed forces against the unarmed Kashmiris.
"The brutalities of the Indian armed forces cannot deprive the Kashmiris from their right of self determination for a long period," Shahbaz said while talking to President of Azad Kashmir Masood Khan who called on Shahbaz Sharif, here today. During the meeting, different matters of mutual interest including national situation came under discussion.
Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz maintained that incidents of unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) by the Indian army and targeting of innocent civilians are highly condemnable. He added that ample funds are being provided for the programmes aimed at providing basic necessities of life to the people of Azad Kashmir.
