Islamabad police and Karachi police on Tuesday jointly raided a house located in Sector F-10/4 in search of former Senior Superintendent of Police Rao Anwar, who is wanted to police in connection with extrajudicial killing of Naseemullah alias Naqeebullah Meshud. A police official said that the city police assisted Karachi police and teams of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Crime Branch (CB) and raided house number 133, Street-43, F-10/4, Islamabad, in search of Anwar but no one was found at the house.
He said that the address of house was mentioned on Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) of the former SSP. A legal notice was also pasted at the gate of the house.
