District administration in collaboration with Elementary and Secondary Education Department organized a function in Government Shaheed Osama Zafar Model High School, Peshawar city to express solidarity with Kashmiris waging struggle for their right of self-determination.
Besides, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Peshawar, Shahid Ali Khan, District Education Officer (DEO), Jadi Khan Khalil, Principal, Jehangir Khan, members of the Volunteer Force, students and people from different segment of society attended the function at large. City District Nazim, Peshawar, Mohammad Asim Khan was chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the function, the City District Nazim said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and one day the struggle of Kashmiris will bring fruit and Kashmir will get independence from the occupation of India. He said that Indian forces are repressing innocent Kashmiris, who want to accede to Pakistan, which is not acceptable to the rulers of India. He said that the people of Pakistan will not leave their Kashmiris brethren alone. The City District Nazim Peshawar paid glowing tributes to the struggle of Kashmiris and said that their sacrifices will not go to waste.
