Five matches decided on the opening day of the Kashmir Solidarity Day Table Tennis Championship here at Qayyum Sports Complex on Monday. Deputy Director Income Tax Ahmad Kamran was the chief guest. Former Champion Atif Ali Shah, Secretary KP Table Tennis Association Kifayat Ullah Khan, Vice Presidents Khyber Bank Naveed and Sadia were also present.
A total of 50 male and female players are taking part in eight different teams. In the first match Areeb beat Habib by 3-0, Mahaz beat Zain by 3-0, Nimra beat Iqra by 3-0, Aasiya beat Kainat by 3-0. The final will be played on Tuesday.
