A man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen; whereas police claimed to have arrested two alleged target killers in the metropolis on Tuesday. The identification of deceased was ascertained as Chaudhary Maqsood who was targeted by unidentified assailants in Gulistan-e-Johar locality. His body was moved to the hospital for medico-legal formalities. The victim's identification was ascertained with the help of a PIA security card recovered from his pocket, police said.
Meanwhile, two alleged target killers were arrested from Orangi Town No-8 locality. Police said the detained were involved in street crime incidents.
One of the under arrest accused Zohaib has been involved in some 18 targeted killings in the city. A hand grenade and a pistol were recovered from his possession during the course of action, the police sources said.
