The fifth school at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), School of Education (SOE), organised an information session for its new MPhil Education Leadership and Management programme, along with a free GRE preparatory workshop conducted by Fahim Abbasi, who has successfully developed and delivered preparatory courses that include GRE and GMAT.
Around 500 people were in attendance, with the session being broadcasted live in two more auditoriums on campus to accommodate the large number of participants. The session began with Fahim Abbasi providing guidelines for approaching the verbal section of the GRE. This included topic such as verbal reasoning and analytical writing, and the participants were given questions and exercises to help them get acquainted with the GRE format.
The GRE verbal session was followed by an information session of the LUMS School of Education MPhil Education Leadership and Management programme. The panel consisted of members of the LUMS administration and faculty: namely, Dr Mariam Chughtai, Associate Dean, School of Education, Dr Faisal Bari, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, LUMS, Nuzhat Kamran, Director Marketing and Admissions, School of Education and representatives of the LUMS Admissions department.
