An application was filed in the Lahore High Court on Wednesday seeking directives to constitute a commission to examine annual income and expenditures of private schools allegedly charging 'heavy fee' from the students. Azhar Sadique advocate submitted that the students have been suffering at the hands of the private schools and colleges. He submitted that a commission was needed to be constituted to pursue the forensic audit, income statement, tax returns of these schools and a total cost of educating a student for five years. The petitioner pointed out that the schools had been minting money in billions from the students and have turned into a big industry.
He therefore asked the court to constitute a commission to get forensic audit of private schools.
