Lahore High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali on Wednesday constituted a full bench third time to hear petitions against alleged anti-judiciary speeches of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and other leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). The bench comprising Justice Syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, Justice Atir Mahmood and Justice Shahid Jamil Khan would resume hearing Thursday (today). Previously two benches were stood dissolved.
The petitioners, Amina Malik of Civil Society Network and one Munir Ahmad contended that the former premier Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and other leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) have been making derogatory speeches against the judges of the Supreme Court after his disqualification in the Panama case.
