Rizwan Hussain brings more than 30 years of experience as a seasoned Insurance/Takaful industry professional. With a mission to establish Pakistan as the Hub of Islamic Finance, he recently acquired majority stake in Takaful Pakistan, a public unlisted Takaful operator in Pakistan. Prior to this acquisition, Hussain served a EFU Insurance since 1990. He managed several functions at EFU including both insurance/Takaful sales, marketing, strategy formulation, corporate account management, risk underwriting and claims management. Given his successful track record, he was promoted to the position of Executive Director in 2007.
He is MBA & a Certified Director (PICG) and has attended various training programs in Insurance, Takaful, Marketing and Strategic Management. He has participated as key note speaker in several local and international conferences and has conducted trainings on Insurance, Bancassurance, Takaful and Bancatakaful.
