Spokesperson Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry Saturday said that process of disintegration of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was under way and a number of PML-N leaders were going to join PTI in coming days. Addressing a news conference here, Chaudhry rejected the PTI and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would join hands in Punjab regarding seat-adjustment in forthcoming general election.
"To form an alliance with the PPP is just like committing a political suicide. They do not have candidates of their own in Punjab and we did not even join hands with them in the Senate election as well," he remarked.
The spokesperson also confirmed that the PTI has decided its nominee for the slot of caretaker prime minister, adding that the name would soon be forwarded to Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah.
He said Chairman PTI Imran Khan had transformed the party into a 'machine' without which it was impossible to win election, adding the PTI had also turned into a sea wherein all rivers ran into.
Chaudhry lashed out at former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz over her remarks against the opposition parties and said that before criticising others, she should first look into her father's political history.
"Nawaz and Zardari have always been brothers and Khawaja Saad Rafique, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and others took their first oath from President General Pervez Musharraf (retd)," he said.
