Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif in a meeting with the PML-N KPK president, Engineer Amir Muqam, here on Wednesday expressed his resolve to usher in a revolution of development and prosperity in the KPK, if provided an opportunity. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including political issues and progress on development projects came under discussion, the sources said, adding: "Shahbaz asked Amir Muqam to spread the PML-N message across the KPK so that the party get due results in 2018 general elections."
Talking to Amir Muqam, Shahbaz said that the people of KPK have been deceived in the name of change and revolution. How those who have deceived in the name of "Billion Tree Afforestation Project" can be the leader of the nation, he questioned? "The PML-N will usher in a revolution of development and prosperity in the KPK. A latest transport system like metro bus will be introduced in Peshawar and other major cities and a real revolution will be brought in health and education sectors to facilitate the people,"Shahbaz said. Engineer Amir Muqam appreciated the development vision of Shahbaz and said that worthwhile development has been made in Lahore and other cities of the province.
The Punjab speed of Shahbaz Sharif will soon be transformed to KPK Speed, he said, adding: "The PML-N will gain thumping majority in the KPK and other parts of the country under the leadership of Shahbaz Sharif." Moreover, Shahbaz Sharif has expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the death of Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar Musa Pak Shaheed Makhdoom Wajahat Hussain Gillani.
In his condolence message, he prayed that may Almighty Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude. It may be added here that late Makhdoom Wajahat Hussain Gillani was the brother-in-law of former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani.
