Veteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah slammed Indian skipper Virat Kohli for his bad behavior on-field, calling him the 'world's worst behaved player'.
Sharing a post on his Facebook account, Shah criticised the Indian skipper for his bad behavior on-field in the ongoing India vs Australia series. After Kohli clashed with Australian rival captain Tim Paine on Monday and was on the verge of chest-bumping at one point during the match, before umpire Chris Gaffney stepped in to dissolve the situation.
Shah started a debate on social media by calling India’s most loved player ‘arrogant’. “Virat Kohli is not only the world’s best batsman but also the world’s worst behaved player. His cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners. And I have no intention of leaving the country by the way,” Shah wrote on his verified account.
Many criticised the actor for calling Kohli the worst behaved player, while others defended the cricketer saying aggression is needed to beat the Australians.
